Distal Radius Fractures (Broken Wrist)
A distal radius fracture is a break in the forearm bone near the wrist, often after a fall onto an outstretched hand. Pain, swelling, bruising, and difficulty using the wrist are common symptoms.
An examination and X-rays help determine the fracture’s position and stability. Treatment may include a splint or cast, realignment of the bone, or surgery when needed. Dr. Davies develops a care plan based on the injury and your needs, with follow-up to monitor healing and guide your return to activity.
