Dr. RODNEY L. PLASTER, M.D.

Fellowship Trained in Hip, Knee, and Joint Reconstruction Surgery

Rodney L. Plaster, M.D. pursued a career in orthopedics because he enjoys combining fundamental bioengineer-ing with the excitement of mechanical procedures to provide state-of-the-art joint technology. He believes Orthopedics allows him to utilize his passion and skill set towards restoring patient’s function and returning them to their quality lifestyle. Dr. Plaster’s area of specialty is hip and knee joint reconstruction. With over thirty years of experience, he is trained in the latest procedures and techniques to help patients overcome their injury and achieve optimal results. He and his physician assistants take a team approach to providing patients an individualized treatment plan, focusing on the patient’s needs. His medical philosophy combines academic and clinical research with product development to sustain leading edge, total joint knowledge to provide the highest level of care for patients. Dr Plaster serves as a Clinical lnstructor at the OU College of Medicine. ln his free time he enjoys road cycling, boating and traveling.

Dr. JAMES P. DAVIES, M.D.

Fellowship Trained in Foot and Ankle Surgery

James P. Davies, M.D. is a fellowship trained foot & ankle orthopaedic surgeon. He was born and grew up in Tulsa, OK. He did his undergraduate work in Biological Sciences at Oklahoma State University where he also graduated Cum Laude with an Honors College Degree.

He received his medical degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr Davies completed his orthopaedic surgery training at the University of South Carolina where he was named senior resident of the year, and was involved in several publications in both peer reviewed journals and textbooks.

Dr Davies completed his Foot & Ankle Fellowship training at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York which was recently named the #1 hospital in the United States for orthopaedics by U.S. News and World Report. During his training Dr. Davies directly provided care for a number of high school, collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes. His research has been presented at regional, national, and international meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS).

Dr. Davies believes that strong patient-doctor relationships are paramount in delivering effective, affordable, high quality healthcare. His goal is to provide patients with the best medical care possible, using all the latest techniques and current research available.

DR. JAMES BISCHOFF, M.D.

Fellowship Trained in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery

James F. Bischoff M.D. has practiced medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1988. After completing a fellowship in Hand Surgery at The Campbell Clinic, he joined Hand Surgery Incorporated with William Harrison M.D. and Michael Clendenin M.D. The physicians at Hand Surgery Incorporated helped develop and refine the first single portal technique with Dr. John Agee for endoscopic carpal tunnel release.

Dr. Bischoff joined Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center in 2000 and was the hand surgeon for The University Of Tulsa, the Tulsa Drillers and North Eastern Oklahoma University. Dr. Bischoff’s practice is focused on treating conditions of the hand and wrist with special emphasis on carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome. He is a Clinical Instructor at The University Of Oklahoma. Dr. Bischoff is a founding member of The Oklahoma Surgical Hospital and Medical Director of Oklahoma Surgical Hospital.

DR. SCOTT PLASTER, M.D.

Scott E. Plaster, MD, was born and raised in Tulsa. OK. He received his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Oklahoma, where he also met his wife. His undergraduate degree of Biomedical Engineering directed him to the
mechanical principles of orthopedics, and specifically to the specialty of hip and knee reconstruction. Dr.
Plaster completed his orthopedic residency at the University of New Mexico where he was involved with
several research and textbook publications. During residency, he and his wife had their set of twins who are his pride and joy. He completed his Adult Reconstruction fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. specializing in muscle sparing direct anterior hip replacements, state-of-the-art robotic hip and knee replacements, as well as complex hip and knee revisions. Dr. Plaster’s passion is giving patients their lives back by means of cutting-edge technology and evidence based joint replacement surgery. He believes in providing patient-specific care with efficient and cost-effective treatments. Dr. Plaster offers precision robotic hip and knee replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and complex hip and knee revisions. His interests outside of work include being a father and husband, as well as playing golf. running, and exploring the great outdoors.

Dr. Danya Julson, D.O.

About

Danya Julson, D.O., is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in shoulder surgery. She grew up in Tulsa the middle of 5 children and graduated from Owasso High School. She received her undergraduate as well as her osteopathic medical degree from Oklahoma State University. Thereafter, she moved to Michigan State University for orthopedic residency and then to North Carolina where she completed a Fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Triangle Orthopaedic Associates.

Upon completion of her Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship, she returned home to be near family. She started practice in 2015 and specializes in shoulder reconstructive surgery, including anatomic, stemless, and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery, such as rotator cuff repair, labral repair, and biceps tenodesis.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 babies, her extended family and church family, and watching sports, especially Oklahoma City Thunder basketball.
