Elbow Arthritis
Elbow arthritis can damage the joint surfaces and lead to pain, stiffness, or reduced movement. Osteoarthritis may develop with wear over time or after an earlier injury. Some people notice catching, grinding, or difficulty fully bending or straightening the elbow.
Evaluation and treatment
Dr. Davies reviews your symptoms and examines your elbow; X-rays may help clarify the cause. Care may include adjusting activities, physical therapy, medication when appropriate, and selected corticosteroid injections. The goal is to reduce symptoms and maintain useful movement. If additional specialist care is needed, your treatment plan will address the next steps.
