About
Scott E. Plaster, MD, was born and raised in Tulsa. OK. He received his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Oklahoma, where he also met his wife. His undergraduate degree of Biomedical Engineering directed him to the mechanical principles of orthopedics, and specifically to the specialty of hip and knee reconstruction.
Dr. Plaster completed his orthopedic residency at the University of New Mexico where he was involved with several research and textbook publications. During residency, he and his wife had their set of twins who are his pride and joy.
He completed his Adult Reconstruction fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. specializing in muscle sparing direct anterior hip replacements, state-of-the-art robotic hip and knee replacements, as well as complex hip and knee revisions.
Dr. Plaster’s passion is giving patients their lives back by means of cutting-edge technology and evidence based joint replacement surgery. He believes in providing patient-specific care with efficient and cost-effective treatments. Dr. Plaster offers precision robotic hip and knee replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and complex hip and knee revisions. His interests outside of work include being a father and husband, as well as playing golf. running, and exploring the great outdoors.
